You better believe it! Even though I am not in Minnesota, doesn't mean I can't cheer on my Minnesota Golden Gophers! Today was a bittersweet moment for me because for the first time, our Gopher Football team played their first scrimage at the NEW ON CAMPUS STADIUM at the University of Minnesota!!!!!!
Take a look at that screen..isn't it rediculously ginormous? What a beautiful sight! You can see that thing from miles away! What an exciting time to be a Gopher. Goodbye dome but hello on campus stadium! It will be great to just smell, feel, and hear the "school spirit" as you walk on campus. I can already see the fans and students cheer now! Hopefully I'll be able to at least watch a few games on national TV...I hope and am praying for it!!
Okay speaking of football and all, Fall..where in the world did August go? Okay we still have a few weeks left. Not many though! It seems like every weekend we had something going on or it was nice outside. Trying to at least make the most of my "summer" days. Fall is probably one of my favorite times of the year. Not only is it gorgeous outside but just the football nature of it all. Pretty awesome for colleges to have all that excitement!
When I came to Indy last fall, I would find myself walking on a Sunday taking pictures of places and the leaves changing. I hope to get out..possibly see the country and get some good shots. Wow I can't believe I have been here a year! What do I want to do next? All I know is I have developed great relationships with people and I don't want to change that!
